Air Conditioning Assessments & Inspections
Air Conditioning Assessments & Inspections

New Government Legislation introduced in 2007 has mandated an energy inspection for all air conditioning systems in England & Wales

These inspections cover the assessment of the energy efficiency and sizing of the system, compared to the actual cooling requirements of the building, and to promote the improvement of the energy performance with recommendations on improvements and alternative solutions.

All EU member states have an obligation under the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) to have the inspection for new and existing buildings.
Aims of the Energy Inspection & Assessment
Air Conditioning Energy Inspection & Assessment
Our certified engineers will carry out the air conditioning inspection and provide you with the resulting report, giving basic information to the building owner on the likely efficiency of the systems for which they have responsibility, together with advice on how the energy efficiency might be improved. Our inspection does not cover safety matters.
Air Conditioining Energy Inspection & Assessment
We strongly recommend that the report is kept in a safe place along with the services log book and made available to future owners and tenants and to the person carrying out future inspections. The date of the next inspection will be stated on the report and frequency of inspections will range from three to five years, depending on how well-maintained your system is.
