Air Conditioning Unit Inspection & Assessment
New Government Legislation introduced in 2007 has mandated an Air Conditioning Unit Energy Inspection for all systems in England & Wales
The inspection covers the assessment of the energy efficiency and sizing of the system, compared to the actual cooling requirements of the building, and to promote the improvement of the energy performance with recommendations on improvements and alternative solutions. All EU member states have an obligation under the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) to have the inspection for new and existing buildings.
What We Offer & Aim to Achieve
Our certified Engineers will carry out the Air Conditioning Unit Inspection and provide you with the resulting report, giving basic information to the building owner on the likely efficiency of the systems for which they have responsibility, together with advice on how the energy efficiency might be improved. Our Air Conditioning Unit Inspection does not cover safety matters.
We strongly recommend that the Air Conditioning Assessment report is kept in a safe place along with the services log book and made available to future owners and tenants, and to the person carrying out future inspections. The date of the next inspection will be stated on the report and frequency of Air Conditioning Inspection will range from three to five years, depending on how well-maintained your system is.
