Comfort Applications for Air Conditioning

Air conditioning is most commonly known for its use in comfort applications, such as at home or in the workplace

Its main job is to provide a constant temperature indoor regardless of the weather or temperature outside, and also is able to deal with temperature due to internal heat loads.

These systems maintain temperature within a range that is comfortable to humans, hence the term 'comfort application'.

Comfort Application for Air Conditioning As well as being used in residential and commercial buildings, air conditioning systems are becoming more widely utilised in the motor vehicles we drive. Some vehicles even have sophisticated 'climate control' systems which use the air conditioning system to regulate and maintain the internal temperature.
Close Control Application of Air Conditioning

Close control air conditioning is used when it's vital to maintain temperature because of the processes that are carried out

Although temperature is generally within comfort range, it is the process which determines how the temperature is maintained rather than human preference that is the important factor.

Hospitals, pharmaceutical and testing laboratories, aircraft, data centres and server rooms, agricultural buildings, archive rooms, and food processing companies are all examples of where close control air conditioning systems may be used.
